The general purpose of the School is to prepare new graduate students, young scientists, and employees of national agencies to calculate and use gravimetric geoids for scientific and technical applications in Geodesy. The School provides an excellent opportunity to become familiar with the latest development of geoid determination and to enhance international contacts and collaborations between scientists dealing with gravity field modelling.
